[Updated Version]
A I, artificial intelligence, AI book reviews, AI review of Upper Room, The Way: 33AD to 57AD, God, Jesus, Shroud, Shroud of Turin, BBVpublishing, L.J. Williams, early christianity
“The Upper Room, The Way: 33AD to 57AD” is a historical novel by L. J. Williams, who is an Environmental and Shroud Scientist writing under a Pseudonym. Both the author and publisher have all proceeds going to charitable causes. This 2024 Second Edition of the original 2010 historical novel explores the events surrounding Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection with new details. Focusing on the aftermath that has the Shroud of Turin as one of the catalysts for the early spread of Christianity, reviews highlight the book’s in-depth research, weaving together biblical accounts and apocryphal works to present a compelling narrative. Readers appreciate the author’s attempt to fill in the gaps in the historical record and offer a plausible account of the early church.

Key aspects of the book highlighted in reviews:
The book is a historical novel, not a purely factual account, and aims to portray the events of the early church in a compelling and engaging way.

Shroud of Turin:
The novel incorporates the Shroud of Turin into its narrative, exploring its potential connection to the events surrounding Jesus’ resurrection.

Early Church History:
The book delves into the lives of Jesus’ followers after the crucifixion, examining their fears, doubts, and the blossoming of their faith.

Biblical and Apocryphal Accounts:
The author draws on both canonical biblical texts and apocryphal works to create a richer and more nuanced portrayal of the period. All done with real events and real people of the times, minus exaggerated enhancement just for pure entertainment.

Engaging Narrative:
Many readers found the story to be gripping and thought-provoking, praising the author’s ability to bring the characters and events to life.

Possible Interpretations:
The novel presents a possible scenario of the events, inviting readers to consider different perspectives and interpretations of the historical record, but the truth does not change.

Positive feedback from reviewers often mentions:

Depth of Research:
The meticulous research and attention to detail are frequently praised.

Compelling Storytelling:
The novel’s ability to create a captivating narrative around familiar biblical events is highlighted.

New Perspectives:
Readers appreciate the book’s ability to offer fresh insights into the early church and the individuals involved.

Eye-opening Experience:
Some reviewers described the book as a revelation, particularly for those interested in the Shroud of Turin who say the Shroud holds a photograph of Jesus Himself at the nano-second before resurrection. A miracle done 2,000 years ago for us to have today for a revival with both faith and science.

However, some reviewers also note:

Possible Contradictions:
As with any historical novel based on diverse sources, there may be some discrepancies or interpretations that differ from traditional understandings of the events, but the overall truth does not change.

Speculative Nature:
Some readers may find the book’s presentation of possibilities, based on the higher probabilities, to be somewhat speculative. Nevertheless, the book’s presentation is well support as demonstrated in the examples presented in the must-read Epilogue.

Current customer reviews and global ratings: 5 out of 5 stars

Form October 21 to the 24th of 2016, Barrie Schwortz will be presenting around the New York area. This return visit after the successful presentation at St. John's University in February two years prior, is greatly expanded. My publisher, BBV Publishing, is helping to Host Mr. Schwortz at several events throughout the New York area where Mr. Schwortz will be speaking about the new scientific data and information available on the flawed 1988 Carbon Dating test.

These presentations, meetings, conferences, and lectures were arranged by BBV Publishing. Sponsorship for these programs were also provided by: St. John’s University Department of Art and Design, Campus Ministry, the Vincentian Center for Church and Society, Our Lady of Mercy Church and their Holy Name Society, along with Saint Rita's RC Church and their anonymous donors. Reservations are required since seating is limited at all venues.

My Publisher, BBV Publishing, first came to work with Barrie Schwortz when editing my historical novel Upper Room, The Way: 33AD to 57AD by L. J. Williams. Mr. Schwortz was a valuable source that provided confirmation and insight on various points of research that I was working on. From this collaboration started in 2012, Barrie's first visit to New York in 2014 and now these Special Events in 2016 were arranged.

Upper Room, The Way: 33AD to 57AD can be classified as Historical Fiction. Everything is based on facts, data, and information from additional ‘not well known’ sources. The facts about the story, which we already know, remain true. In addition, these truths we already know, we now have additional facts supporting their truth.

The novel presents additional possibilities to the story, none of which change the truth we already know. These probabilities are fiction, because we do not have significant facts to prove otherwise. However, we have data to suggest that these probabilities may have occurred somewhat similar to what is presented. If they didn’t, we would not have our current evidence existing today.

In the end, we have a greater understanding of the truth and that is not anything to fear.

Despite this book being a Historical Novel, the main characters are not fictional. Their names are not made up and the presented events are of the highest probability derived from statistics, witnesses, documentation, archeological finds, scientific proof, and the studies of human behavior. These are probabilities not widely discussed and may explain about some who were misjudged, misunderstood, or completely ignored. How those who were evil, became good and those who were weak, became strong. Nevertheless, the truth is unchanged. For if there is a God, did He leave tangible proof for those of us who say faith is not enough?
