Happy Easter everyone,

I would like to share a Link (please see below) with everyone. This Link will show details about new dating technics done on left-over fibers from the Shroud of Turin's carbon dating tests back in 1988.

On Holy Thursday night news about new dating tests done on the Shroud became available. The Church is not acknowledging these test either way as of now. Perhaps after additional confirmation and publication in a scientific journal, the Church may make an official statement.

Nevertheless, the new tests were done at the University of Padua. Two tests were chemical and one mechanical. The average date after all the test came back was 33 BC, plus or minus 250 years for margin of error. With this new data and the additional Historical and Scientific facts that prove the Shroud is 2,000 years old, the whole world may soon know the Shroud's true age.

Peace be with us all,

Is it not amazing how science presents itself as being unpretentious by running enough tests so the truth can be known, but with the Shroud, only the opposite became true. In other words, science will do ten tests. Nine tests show one result and one test shows a different outcome. That one test would be thrown out and the other nine are used for citing facts.

With the Shroud of Turin, the one carbon dating test showed a date different from all other historical data and scientific tests proving the shroud to be much older. However, instead of realizing something was wrong with the carbon dating test (as all unpretentious scientist did) and throwing the results out, science and the media kept the incorrect results from the carbon dating test and threw out all the other results from tests proving the Shroud much older.

What else can I say....but thank God for his eternal patience with us and for leaving us with such amazing proof of His love!

Despite this book being a Historical Novel, the main characters are not fictional. Their names are not made up and the presented events are of the highest probability derived from statistics, witnesses, documentation, archeological finds, scientific proof, and the studies of human behavior. These are probabilities not widely discussed and may explain about some who were misjudged, misunderstood, or completely ignored. How those who were evil, became good and those who were weak, became strong. Nevertheless, the truth is unchanged. For if there is a God, did He leave tangible proof for those of us who say faith is not enough?
